In the third of a four-part video series on the rosés of Sacha Lichine, Patrick Schmitt MW tastes the wines of Caves and Château d’Esclans, giving his thoughts on the style and quality of labels from Rock Angel to Les Clans.
Watch Patrick Schmitt MW test whether top Provençal rosé, Garrus by Château d’Esclans, can age like a fine wine, as he samples a set of bottles from vintages back to 2015.
This select cult marketing event was staged over 3 summers in New York City during which Whispering Angel was the exclusive still rosé served. An average of 10,000 people attended this weekend long event spanning between 2016 and 2018 to hear music and enjoy its convivial summer festival ambiance.

“Le Sacre du Rosé Invitation au Voyage” ARTE
In this cultural travel documentary as seen on ARTE, the European Culture TV Channel, Chateau d’Esclans Domaines Sacha Lichine and its Head of Viticulture, Franck Fantino, are prominently featured. During this segment to the documentary, a discussion narrated by Mr. Fantino takes us on a journey of our terroir and vines (notably older “prize” vines) from which grapes grow to produce Chateau d’Esclans, Les Clans and Garrus. The narrative includes an explanation of history and culture of the Domaine and Provence. There is also a narrative about wine making and an appearance of our Cellar Master, Jean-Claude Neu, including commentary about our top end rosé, Garrus.
